Description
Environmental Sensors’ handheld Toxic Vapor Meter measures the concentration of the harmful chemicals in air. It is suitable to measure the employee exposure level in workplaces where dangerous chemicals are used routinely or indoor air quality in homes or offices.
The operation is very simple. Just turn on the meter and follow the prompt on the LCD screen. After a short warm-up routine, the meter will start showing the real-time concentration in ppm at 10 second intervals continuously. When the concentration reaches above the alarm’s set level, the meter will beep repeatedly to alarm the user. The four button panel makes it easy to access menu features. With a touch of a button, the meter displays TWA(8 hour average), STEL(15min. average) or peak concentration. The concentration can be shown in ppm or mg/m3.
With a new Zeroing feature, it is easier to set a new baseline without turning off the meter.
The instrument can be equipped to record all measurements made in a log file that includes the date, time and number of exposure points. The internal data logging storage can hold up to 160 hours of data.
Reliable
To ensure the accuracy of the instruments, our trained calibration technicians calibrate each meter using NIST traceable gas before shipment. All Environmental Sensors’ meters come with a calibration certificate. Factory re-calibration service is available at ESC.
